Mumbai Ganesh Utsav

Mumbai has tremendous spirit for Ganesh Utsav, tousands of Ganesh Mandals worship lord Ganesha during Ganesh Utsav. Few well known Ganesh Mandals from Mumbai;

1. Lalbaughcha Raja

The Lalbaugcha Raja, is undoubtedly the most famous Ganesh Mandal in Mumbai. The mandal was founded in 1934, and has grown to be the most visited one during Ganesh Utsav.

2. Girgaoncha Raja

The 84 year old Girgaoncha Raja is famous for its 25 feet long eco friendly Ganpati murti made of Shadu clay.

3. GSB Seva Ganesh mandal

GSB Seva Ganesh mandal was founded in 1954 by the Gowd Saraswat Brahmin community ans is well known as Golden Ganesha of Mumbai.

4. Andhericha Raja

Andhericha Raja mandal was established in 1966 by the workers of various companies.

5. Khetwadi Ganraj

The Khetwadi Ganesh mandal was established in 1959, the Ganesh idol is around 40 feet in height.
